In 1887 John Decker built his Second Empire style house on 2 lots. The house features a mansard roof with fish scale slates, brick corbeling, and decorative tin lintels and belting. The elaborate tin work advertised the original homeowner's business.
This beautiful historical home sits right in the epitome of Victorian homes on South Main Street in the Historic District. The purist thought in all renovations was highly considered. With extravagant and quality woods throughout, rooms have been updated such as the Master Suite, Victorian Porches, third floor Modern Farmhouse, Cedar Loft above garage, and spectacular Natural Stone Patio with retaining walls and outdoor kitchen entertainment with the most inviting setting in the entire town.
