Houzeo does not charge hidden fees. When buying a service, the general assumption is that there will be no hidden fees. Alas! Several other Flat-Fee MLS listing services surprise you with a 0.25% to 5% convenience fee. These fees are hidden and not disclosed at the time of listing.

Houzeo Refund Policy

You can request a refund if you are unsatisfied with Houzeo’s services. Houzeo offers a complete refund after deducting a $50 non-refundable deposit.

You have to fulfill all of the following criteria to claim a refund:

1. It has to be less than 14 days since the placing an order
2. You have not signed the listing agreement
3. The listing is not live on the MLS
4. No draft listing has been assigned to you

As per the refund policy, you do not get refunds for optional upgrades. This includes a yard sign, lockbox, contract assistance package, etc.

Houzeo’s Cancelation Policy

Houzeo does not charge termination fees. You can cancel a listing for free, even before the listing expiration date, by submitting a change request through the Houzeo dashboard. The refund policy does not change according to your state.

Note that a termination fee of $25 is levied only for homes listed on the Georgia MLS (GAMLS). There are no Houzeo hidden fees for cancellation.

If you want to reinstate a canceled MLS listing within the term of the listing agreement, you must pay a reinstatement fee. This fee is the same amount as the cost of a new listing in your state.
