The Lamont is a six-story cooperative building constructed in 1957, located on a quiet, tree-lined block in the Homecrest section of Brooklyn. The masonry mid‑century structure contains primarily one- and two-bedroom layouts, many with ample foyer/dining areas, multiple closets and windowed kitchens; several units have been converted or renovated to provide larger living configurations. Common spaces include a renovated lobby and corridors, a planted roof deck under development, ground-floor laundry rooms, a community/children’s playroom, and on-site storage (separate storage available for rent). Building operations are full-service with a staffed doorman and two elevators; maintenance charges include heat, hot water and gas. Parking is available via an attached garage though waitlists exist for purchase or rental; some individual units are offered with deeded parking. The co-op is wired for FIOS, permits pets on a case‑by‑case basis, does not allow parents buying for children, and requires board approval (sublets allowed after two years). Situated two blocks from the Kings Highway B/Q subway station, the property offers straightforward transit to Midtown and easy access to nearby parks, beaches and neighborhood retail, cafés and restaurants.
