A distinguished prewar coop on the Upper West Side, constructed in 1922 and rising roughly 15–16 stories, this Georgian Revival residence presents brick, limestone and terra-cotta façades and traditional prewar proportions. The building primarily contains larger multi-room units—three-bedroom and classic 5–6 room layouts—with high ceilings, original moldings, hardwood floors and generous closet space that reflect its period character. Common areas are thoughtfully programmed: a landscaped roof deck with Hudson River and park views, a large community/children’s playroom, central laundry, bike storage and private storage units. The property operates full-service with a 24-hour doorman and resident manager; on-site staff maintain strong physical and financial management and the coop historically levies a capital contribution rather than a flip tax. Pet-friendly policies are in place and washers/dryers are permitted in units; pieds-a-terre, guarantors and co-purchasing are considered on a case-by-case basis. Located directly across from Riverside Park and the Hudson River Greenway, the building sits steps from Columbia University, convenient subway and bus lines, neighborhood shops, restaurants and recreational routes for walking, biking and jogging.
