A converted prewar loft condominium in Midtown West, The Hit Factory repurposes a former 19th-century recording studio into seven stories of contemporary residences. Completed as condos in the 2000s, the boutique building contains roughly two dozen loft-style units, primarily one-bedroom configurations alongside larger multi-bedroom penthouses and duplexes. Architecturally the property retains industrial loft character—very high ceilings, oversized double‑paned windows, exposed volumes and dramatic foyer spaces—while interiors are finished with modern materials such as light oak floors, limestone accents and high-end kitchen appliances. Residences commonly include eat‑in kitchens with Sub‑Zero, Bosch and Miele equipment, paneled cabinetry, generous storage including private cellar rooms, washer/dryers, and spa-inspired bathrooms with Waterworks and Kohler fixtures. Shared spaces emphasize urban lifestyle conveniences: a staffed attended lobby (part-time), fitness room, package room, roof deck with skyline views, and resident parking/garage access. The building permits pets, pieds‑à‑terre and subletting, and offers private deeded parking and storage for select homes. Located in Hell’s Kitchen/Midtown West, the property sits minutes from Central Park, Columbus Circle, the Theater District and Hudson River Park, placing residents within walking distance of mass transit, shopping and dining.
