The Pinehurst is a six-story prewar cooperative constructed in 1907 and located in Hudson Heights, Manhattan. Architecturally it retains classic early-20th-century details: high ceilings, original moldings, wainscoting, articulated trim, and substantial windows that frame treetop and river-adjacent views. Residences are mostly multi-room layouts including three- and four-bedroom line configurations and flexible three-bedroom/convertible plans; interiors commonly feature formal dining rooms, entrance foyers, walk-in closets, crown molding, chandeliers, granite or Caesarstone counters, and renovated kitchens while preserving period elements such as hardwood floors and cast-iron radiators. Common areas have been maintained and updated — an Art Deco–inspired lobby, landscaped courtyard and garden, storage cages, bike room, and a recently refreshed elevator and boiler. Building services include a resident superintendent, central laundry, and private storage; on-site fitness facilities and a recreation/kids area serve residents. The co-op is pet-friendly and permits a range of ownership uses (pied-à-terre, gifting, subletting and co-purchasing options noted in listings). Positioned a short walk from Ft. Tryon Park, the Cloisters, Hudson River paths and express transit (A train, M4/M98 buses, and nearby GWB bus/terminal access), the property blends roomy prewar accommodations with neighborhood green space and straightforward Midtown commute options.
