605 Grv St

A mid-20th-century low-rise condominium complex built in 1966, composed primarily of two-story garden-style buildings offering studio and one-bedroom homes. Exteriors feature landscaped courtyards, metal fencing, gazebos and picnic/BBQ areas clustered around an in-ground swimming pool and a dedicated dog run. Unit interiors typically have hardwood floors, updated kitchens and baths in many units, basic safety systems such as smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors, intercom entry, and combination tub/shower layouts. Shared building services include on-site coin or app-enabled laundry rooms, secure storage and bicycle storage, exterior maintenance and seasonal snow removal administered through an HOA with maintenance fees that commonly cover heat, hot water, sewer, trash and common-area upkeep. Parking is generous and surface-level; units are accessed via common corridors and stairways. The complex allows pets and is oriented to commuters, with NY bus service at the entrance and easy access to Route 3 and Route 46. The neighborhood sits on the Montclair/Montclair Heights border offering proximity to Montclair State University, local shops and restaurants, and straightforward transit into Manhattan.
