651 Vanderbilt St

The Park Vanderbilt is a mid-rise, seven-story cooperative built in 1963 with 149 units, predominantly one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms and studios. The elevator-served building is fully owner-occupied and presented as well maintained, with a renovated marble lobby, two elevators (one per wing), and on-site staff including a live-in superintendent and two porters. Interiors typically feature hardwood or parquet floors, windowed eat-in or galley kitchens with granite counters in renovated units, abundant built-in storage and formal dining areas or alcoves; many apartments have been updated with modern kitchens and baths while retaining classic details. Shared building amenities include a landscaped common garden/courtyard, two laundry rooms on the lobby level, bike storage, package room, composting/gardening bins, and limited garage parking available via a waitlist. The co-op has strong financials and relatively low maintenance fees; pet policy permits one dog per apartment and condominiums are smoke-free. Located on a quiet, tree-lined block in Windsor Terrace, the property sits steps from Prospect Park, playgrounds, lake and recreational facilities, and is within a short walk of the F and G trains and neighborhood retail, cafes, and restaurants.
