660 Riverside Dr

A six-story pre-war condominium completed in 1908, this low-rise Riverside Drive property preserves classic turn-of-the-century architecture while operating as a small elevator building. The collection is composed primarily of one-bedroom residences, including junior one-bedroom layouts and units with designated office/guest alcoves; many homes feature high ceilings, bay windows, hardwood floors and historically sympathetic details. Common areas are modest and practical: a lobby with secure video entry, on-site laundry, bicycle storage, and a live‑in superintendent. Exterior character reflects a traditional masonry façade that faces Riverside Park and the Hudson River corridor, delivering regular park and river views from multiple exposures. Building policies are condominium-flexible — sponsor resales and investor-friendly units have appeared, and pets are permitted; the property is smoke-free. Onsite services are limited to management and maintenance rather than full concierge; parking is not offered. The location anchors the building to Hamilton Heights and Riverside Drive, steps from Riverbank State Park, the Hudson River Greenway, and several subway lines and neighborhood retailers, combining historic neighborhood character with easy access to major institutions and outdoor recreation.
