Tonopalo Private Residence Club is a low-density, resort-style lakeside complex on Tahoe Vista’s north shore completed in 2003. Composed of large, fully furnished residences offered primarily as fractional interests, the community’s typical homes are three- and four-bedroom units with multiple bathrooms, open-plan living areas, and chef-style kitchens featuring granite counters and islands. Architecture and interiors favor warm mountain materials—natural stone, rich wood finishes, expansive glazing and vaulted ceilings—that frame panoramic lake and forest views. Common facilities are organized around a private 270-foot sandy beach and a small pier with a buoy field; grounds include a clubhouse, heated outdoor pool and spa, fitness center, fire pit and BBQ areas. On-site staff provide concierge, housekeeping, maintenance, groundskeeping and seasonal boat valet services; ownership includes scheduled weeks per year plus space-available access and HOA management of utilities and staff. Parking is heated in parts of the property and outdoor spaces include private decks and terraces. The community is pet-friendly (limited pets allowed) and is positioned minutes from Tahoe City access, recreational trailheads, and nearby ski areas, supporting a year-round lakeside lifestyle focused on boating, hiking, skiing and relaxed entertaining.
