Les Chateaux is a low-rise condominium complex in San Antonio’s Alamo Heights area, completed in 1964 and organized primarily as two-bedroom residences across two stories. The architecture reads as midcentury garden-style buildings with exterior walkways, covered parking, and multiple private patios or balconies for many units. Interiors vary by unit but commonly include modestly updated kitchens and bathrooms, built-in storage and closets including walk-in options, conventional living/dining layouts, and access to shared laundry facilities. Community amenities emphasize outdoor living and convenience: multiple swimming pools, established landscaping with common green spaces, assigned covered parking plus ample visitor stalls, and exterior maintenance, trash, water, pest control and some utilities managed through the HOA. The complex sits moments from The Quarry shopping, Olmos Basin Park, downtown San Antonio and major highways, placing residents close to dining, retail, and the airport while remaining within the Alamo Heights Independent School District. Pet and service policies are handled by the association; managing agents typically oversee routine maintenance and grounds, making this a low-maintenance ownership option with straightforward, practical finishes and a suburban-urban location mix.
