851 Meridian Ave

A low-rise, midcentury apartment property built in 1965 and set within Miami Beach’s South Beach neighborhood. The five-story structure contains primarily studio residences configured for efficient coastal living; many units feature open-plan living/dining spaces, eat-in kitchen areas, walk-in closets and private balconies or patios. Interiors commonly show modest modern upgrades—remodeled kitchens, Pergo or tile floors, updated baths with separate shower/tub options, custom cabinetry and built-in storage—while common areas include an elevator, a small bar/meeting space and on-site laundry. The exterior offers a leafy courtyard, covered assigned parking under or adjacent to the building, security features including high-impact doors and an intercom entry, plus periodic building-wide improvements such as hurricane-impact window installations. With roughly two dozen units, the property reads as a compact, community-oriented boutique address a short walk from the Atlantic shoreline, Lincoln Road, Espanola Way and Flamingo Park. Pet policies are permissive and the association has historically allowed first-year rentals and seasonal leasing, positioning the building as a versatile option for owners, weekenders and investors seeking a walkable, amenity-light beach lifestyle.
