“The only way to do great work is to love what you do!”
I love what I do and have fun doing it! For me, the best part about being a home inspector is I learn something new every day. Having the opportunity to explore your new home satisfies my curious nature, and seeing all the little quirks of the home that makes each house unique is fun and a great way to learn.
I became an Inspector to help clients understand the home’s condition and understand how to maintain a home. Understanding these things allows homebuyers to make good decisions moving forward. In short, I like to say, “I teach Homebuyers To Be Homeowners!”
I am an NYS Certified Professional Home Inspector. I have performed over 1500 inspections since starting my company in 2017. I understand how the different components of your home work together and function to keep your home in good working order. I have a background in property management, general maintenance, and customer service. In addition, I’m an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector. InterNACHI is one of the most respected and accredited societies for home inspectors. They are also an accredited University for home inspectors by the US Department of Education and provide valuable training and education for Inspectors all over the US and Canada. There are many reasons these societies are beneficial; for me, it is the massive amount of information at my fingertips, tools to become a better inspector than I am today, and the ability to continue educating myself. For me, this is the cornerstone to being a great and successful home inspector.
I received my required NYS education and training at the Cusack Center for Professional Development. They are the local leaders in real estate and real estate-related fields, including home inspections. Through them, I have completed my classroom education and field-based training course under the watchful eye of an NYS-certified professional home inspector.
