1625 Glenview Rd

The Cloisters is a low-rise condominium complex in downtown Glenview, completed in 2000 and laid out across three stories. Units are predominantly two- and three-bedroom residences arranged with open, flexible floor plans that emphasize vaulted or cathedral ceilings, clerestory and Palladian windows, and regular skylights that bring substantial daylight into living spaces. Typical interior features include built-in bookcases, custom closet organizers, formal dining areas or bonus rooms off the kitchen, laundry hookups or full-size in-unit washer/dryers, and wood or Brazilian cherry flooring in many units. Most residences have a private terrace, screened porch or balcony overlooking landscaped courtyards, small wooded pockets, or the adjacent river. Common building amenities center on resident convenience and recreation: an indoor heated pool, exercise/fitness room, large hospitality/party room, and secure heated two-car garage spaces often included with units. The complex provides elevator access, multiple storage lockers per floor and in the garage, on-site lighting and storm/screened exterior components, and an organized condominium management structure. Pet policy is small dogs and cats allowed in many units. Located within immediate walking distance of the Metra station, grocery, restaurants, library and shops, the property supports a highly walkable downtown Glenview lifestyle with quiet, park-like surroundings while remaining close to transit and neighborhood services.
