1800 Dewes St

A three-story condominium complex built in 2000 located in downtown Glenview. The low-rise building contains a mix of one- and two-bedroom residences, including corner and top-floor units with vaulted or cathedral ceilings and abundant windows. Many homes offer open floorplans, separate dining rooms, and fireplaces; several feature private balconies or large patios and skylights in upper units. Common building amenities include elevator access, an exercise/fitness room, generous storage closets on each floor, and laundry facilities within units. Underground heated garage parking is provided, often as one or two assigned side-by-side spaces; some listings reference large same-floor storage rooms and convenient elevator access directly to parking. Exterior upkeep and grounds maintenance are handled by the association, with assessments frequently covering heat, water, exterior maintenance, landscaping and snow removal. Pet and rental policies vary by unit but multiple listings indicate a pet-friendly stance and investor-friendly rental allowances. The building’s location emphasizes true downtown convenience: steps from Metra service, neighborhood restaurants, grocery options, the library, parks and community events, supporting a pedestrian-oriented lifestyle.
