The Strathmore is a 44-story condominium tower on Manhattan's Upper East Side, completed in 1994 and later reimagined by Related Companies with interiors by Ingrao Inc. The building contains 180 residences ranging from one- to four-bedroom layouts designed to maximize light and views, with many corner units, bay windows, and open city or river vistas. Interiors showcased across listings include wide European French oak floors, custom Italian cabinetry, high-end Miele appliances, marble countertops (Imperial Danby, Volaka, Turkish Bianco Dolomite), polished nickel fixtures, smart thermostats, and vented washers/dryers; larger units feature walk-in closets and ensuite baths. Arrival is through tree-lined streets and a private garden into a double-height lobby staffed by Related's on-site management team. Shared amenities emphasize wellness and social programming: a residents’ lounge, private dining room with catering kitchen, fitness center, indoor lap pool, squash/sports court with viewing lounge, and a children’s playroom, plus a Related Life lifestyle program. The building offers limited private outdoor spaces under 60 sq ft associated with select units; storage and formal dining areas are common interior features. Located near museums, upscale dining, and the FDR Drive, The Strathmore blends Upper East Side residential character with full-service condominium conveniences.
