Valentine Gardens is a mid-century, six-story cooperative complex in Yonkers dating to 1953. The property is predominantly one-bedroom layouts with occasional larger corner units; interiors commonly feature eat-in kitchens, covered hardwood floors, multiple closets including walk-ins, and renovated baths with granite counters in some units. Buildings are served by elevators and have modest foyer and storage provisions; select apartments include ceiling fans, chandeliers, and custom built-ins. Grounds center on a planted courtyard and garden, with a well-maintained patio area and on-site playground for children. Common services and operating structure include included utilities in monthly maintenance—typically heat, hot water, gas, and electricity—and shared basement storage and laundry facilities. Parking is neighborhood street or nearby municipal options rather than an on-site garage. The complex sits within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, schools and bus lines offering commutes into NYC, and neighbors municipal parks with tennis courts, creating a blend of suburban calm and urban convenience.
