517 W 29Th St

A ten-story condominium completed circa 1900 and reworked as a contemporary residence collection, this building contains predominantly one- and two-bedroom homes across roughly 60 units. Interiors emphasize loft-like proportions with high ceilings, wide Russian white oak plank floors, and premium finishes such as bespoke Italian kitchen cabinetry, Miele appliances, marble counters and Waterworks bathroom fixtures. Many units include small private outdoor spaces or balconies; the property also provides shared storage. Common areas combine modern design and social programming: a full‑time attended lobby, a Jonathan Adler–designed resident Wi‑Fi lounge, a sunlit fitness center on the first floor, a landscaped central courtyard with BBQ and dining seating, and a planted roof deck with sun terraces and Hudson River views. Parking is offered both indoors and outdoors for purchase. Pet policies are not specified; the building’s courtyard and roof deck extend usable outdoor space in a dense Chelsea context near the High Line and Hudson Yards. The overall character blends preserved volumetric elements with contemporary luxe finishes and amenity-focused communal spaces tailored to urban living.
