815 Park Avenue is a 14-story prewar cooperative on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, completed in 1917 by architects Rouse & Goldstone. The building’s masonry façade and traditionally scaled proportions reflect early 20th-century Park Avenue elegance. Approximately 49 residences occupy layouts that range from smaller studio and staff rooms to expansive multi-room apartments and rare private full-floor homes; many configurations feature semi-private or private elevator landings. Interiors commonly retain prewar details such as high ceilings, crown moldings, herringbone oak floors, wood-burning fireplaces, built-ins, and formal dining and living rooms, while renovated units add modern kitchens, washer/dryers, Sonos or sound systems, and central or through-wall air conditioning.
