About Blountstown Elementary School

Blountstown Elementary School's original building was damaged beyond repair by Hurricane Michael in October 2018, after which students were split between the original site and a Main Street campus and held classes in portables. A new 35-classroom building, costing about $30 million and funded mostly by the state, was later built on the original Fuller Warren Drive site. The school is part of Calhoun County School District, and its mascot is the tiger.
