About Volusia Pines Elementary School

Volusia Pines Elementary School opened to students in August 1996, a week after its construction was substantially finished. It was built to replace the older elementary school that had served its communities, which closed that year when its pupils moved to the new campus. It is part of Volusia County Schools. Its mascot is the Florida panther and its colors are green and yellow.
