Miami Arts Studio 6-12 at Zelda Glazer began in 2007 as Zelda Glazer Middle School. Its first senior high graduating class was the class of 2018, and in January 2018 the Jose Milton Foundation gave the campus a professional recording studio. The school is part of Miami-Dade County Public Schools and sits in the district's South Region. The U.S. Department of Education named it a National Blue Ribbon School in 2020, and it was a Florida Department of Education School of Excellence for 2023-24 and again for 2024-25. Its mascot is the Maverick.
