125 Eastern Pkwy

The Theodore Roosevelt is a six-story prewar co-op completed in 1923 on Eastern Parkway in Prospect Heights. Its Beaux-Arts–informed presence includes an elegant marble lobby and period details carried through many apartments: high ceilings, plaster moldings, arched doorways and original hardwood or herringbone parquet floors. Residences are primarily two-bedroom layouts and larger classic configurations that retain formal living and dining rooms, long entry galleries and generous closets; many units feature eat-in or windowed kitchens, built-ins and in-unit washer/dryers. The building offers standard brownstone-era conveniences adapted for today: elevator access, a live-in superintendent, basement laundry, and optional bike and private storage. Exterior amenities include professionally landscaped courtyards and small private outdoor spaces off select units. Pet policies are permissive for a co-op, and parking is street-based with nearby transit access. Sited directly across from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Brooklyn Museum, the property fronts Prospect Park’s cultural corridor and is steps from multiple subway lines and neighborhood restaurants, creating a residential experience that blends prewar scale with contemporary day-to-day practicality.
