6658 Schuss Mountain Ln

Villa Monte, part of the Schuss Village neighborhood within Shanty Creek Resort near Mancelona, MI, is a low-rise condominium complex completed in 1987 that emphasizes year‑round resort living. Units range from one- to three-bedroom condo and townhouse-style layouts with vaulted or cathedral ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, walk-in closets, jetted tubs in some bathrooms, and attached or walkout decks that capture views of the Schuss golf course and adjacent ski slopes. Exteriors present woodsy, chalet-influenced design with private decks and shared lawns; grounds include sidewalks, sprinklered turf and on-site tennis courts. Common facilities for owners include a private summer swimming pool for the Villa Monte association and close pedestrian access to the wider Shanty Creek amenities: multiple golf courses, downhill and cross-country ski trails, restaurants, and local lakes. HOA covers many exterior services—snow removal, landscaping, roof/deck/window maintenance, water, trash and liability insurance—and allows short-term rentals and owner pets, supporting an owner-plus-rental market. Parking is surface-level; units are often sold furnished and positioned for vacation use or permanent residence within easy driving distance of Bellaire and regional destinations like Traverse City.
