149 Huron St

149 Huron Street is a five-story boutique condominium in Greenpoint, Brooklyn built in 2007. The building contains approximately 30 residences, primarily studio and loft-configured units with several duplexs and penthouses. Its exterior presents a modern, rectilinear façade with geometric window panels and modest architectural detailing. Suites typically feature high ceilings, oversized windows, open-plan kitchens with stainless steel appliances and stone counters, hardwood (Brazilian teak) floors, in-unit washer/dryers, and multiple private outdoor spaces on select units including Juliet balconies, private balconies, and large roof decks. Common areas are compact but well-appointed for a boutique property: an elevator, a fitness room, sauna, on-site super, bicycle storage, and a sizable communal garden/courtyard with seating and barbecue facilities. Parking is available (deeded or rentable) and the building has historically benefited from a tax abatement. Management emphasizes low common charges by concentrating services and amenities rather than extensive staffing. Located between Franklin Street and Manhattan Avenue, the property sits one block from the Greenpoint Ave G stop and within easy reach of the East River ferry, neighborhood shops, restaurants, parks, and the waterfront, offering an urban-but-residential lifestyle with strong transit access and outdoor options.
