This charming former carriage house was built for Richard Mortimer, one of the early settlers in Tuxedo Park. His chauffeur lived on the second floor. It was converted into a proper cottage in the early 1970’s. Its beautiful native stone and cedar shingle façade look east to the Ramapo Mountains and is framed by a backdrop of forest and massive stone outcroppings. The stone arch portico and hipped roof over the entrance features a headstone dated 1914.
