    • Yes. Within 24 hours of when your Listing Agent emails you a copy of your MLS listing, you are required to review it and inform us if you see anything that might not be accurate. MLS penalizes members for any inaccurate information and you're responsible to pay this fine, if incurred.

  • How will I know when my listing goes public?
    • Two to 48 business hours after you've submitted your listing on and answered any additional questions your Listing Agent might have, your listing will go live on the MLS and various portals like Zillow, Trulia, and You can check it out on

  • How long does it take to get my listing on the MLS?
    • In most cases, your listing will appear the same day or on the next business day. This is after you have submitted your listing on and answered any follow-up questions the Listing Agent might have. Some MLS systems manually enter listings they receive from all sources, including, a process that takes an extra two business days for activation.

  • Am I Considered a For Sale By Owner, If I Purchase a Flat Fee MLS Listing?
    • Technically, no. Once you're on the MLS, you're no longer considered to be a For Sale By Owner. But that shouldn't matter. Your listing agreement with the agent is usually "entry only", which means it only pertains to the entry of the property listing onto the MLS and can be cancelled anytime. Think of this as a technical hoop, so you can get the marketing prowess of all the agents out there. For a small flat fee, no less. You're not locked into a long term exclusive agreement that you can't get out of.

  • Do Realtors Avoid For Sale By Owner?
    • Yes and no. If you're advertising as a pure FSBO, you'll get less exposure, plus agents will chase after you as a lead. Home owners looking to sell their homes themselves (For Sale By Owners – FSBOs) find Flat Fee MLS listing as the most important tool in their arsenal. It gives them everything a listing agent can provide, but for a small flat fee. It offers MLS’ exposure while cutting out the listing side of the commission.
