About Flat Fee MLS in Connecticut

The Multiple Listing Service or mostly known as MLS is an online real estate marketing system that allows real estate agents to list a property, find clients or available homes for sale, or interact with other real estate brokers or agents. The listing will also be distributed to Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, Redfin, and other real estate platforms/brokerages. You need to be a licensed real estate agent and pay a membership fee before you can access the local MLS. For Sale By Owner or sellers who want to directly sell a home without a realtor usually choose a Flat Fee MLS option to list their property on the local MLS for a discounted fee. A Flat Fee MLS service is typically an “a la carte” package with a reasonable price to start listing your home, with added valuable real estate services. That’s why more home sellers are now ditching the traditional route and instead go for a flat fee option to save thousands of commissions while having complete control of the sale.
