  • Listingly provides an online platform for listing process.
  • They offers cash rebate to buyers.

  • Listingly's coverage is limited to Florida.
  • Their add-ons are expensive.

Listingly is a well-known real estate company in Florida. They provide listing services at no upfront cost i.e. you only need to pay a fee at closing. Moreover, Listingly allows you to customize the plan with a base price of $99.

Listingly has adopted this approach to offer better savings. However, many sellers find their pricing model deceptive. According to the negative reviews of Listingly, in some instances, sellers felt they had to shell out more than the base fee.

Additionally, Listingly’s coverage is limited to Florida. Hence, most home sellers may not be able to avail their services.

โœ๏ธ Editor’s Take: For most home sellers, we recommend Houzeo over Listingly. Houzeo offers their services nationwide. Compare Listingly vs. Houzeo.

โœ… Ross was happy with his savings and felt that Listingly provided him with better services than traditional agents.

Ross LieberfarbUSASubmitted 2022

Listingly was amazing every step of the way. Not only did we save thousands of dollars, but their service was better than any full price realtor that I have used in the past and I have sold multiple homes. They are extremely knowledgeable and I would never use a full price realtor again- regardless of the whether it’s a sellers market or a buyers market. Go Listingly!!!!

Listingly Negative Reviews

โŒ Ashley emphasized that Listingly’s plans are deceptive because sellers pay more than what the company promotes.

Ashley GarciaUSASubmitted 2021

The only good thing about this is that it is cheaper than paying a sellerโ€˜s agent. But I recommend you go to other websites that will list your property for the same price. After all the fees, they are actually more expensive. They list fees on their websites, but there are even more fees in the fine print that most donโ€™t read.

โŒ Zach was disappointed with Listingly’s services. He recommended reading the contract and policies thoroughly.

Zach StoneUSASubmitted 2022

I will never use listingly again to sell a home and would not recommend them to anyone. In my opinion, there are so many better flat fee options. If you do use listingly I recommend you read EVERY word of the contract before signing, especially the fees and cancellation policy parts.

1. Listingly vs. Houzeo

Listingly’s $99 MLS listing seems affordable. However, you may have to purchase add-ons that can increase the overall cost from $400 to $700.

On the other hand, Houzeo’s Silver plan allows you to list on the MLS and offers everything you may need for a successful home sale. Moreover, their web technology and mobile app make home selling a breeze.

2. Listingly vs. Flat Fee Group

Flat Fee Group in some regards offers better services than Listingly. Moreover, you have the flexibility to choose from 3-4 packages.

The realtor associated with Flat Fee Group in Florida is Doug Addeo. He is a highly knowledgeable broker with 24 years of experience. The only drawback of working with Flat Fee Group is that their technology is not at par with industry standards.

3. Listingly vs. Beycome

Listingly and Beycome have similar services and pricing models. Beycome offers you the MLS listing for $99 and provides a-la-carte services. However, Beycome also lacks the technology that simplifies the home-selling process.

Other Options You Should Consider

  • Sell to an iBuyer: iBuyers purchase homes needing minimal repairs in as-is condition. They can be a great option if you want to sell your house fast.
  • Sell to Cash Home Buyers: Individual cash home buyers make all-cash offers, usually within 24 to 48 hours. They also let you skip listing on the MLS.
  • Sell For Sale By Owner: For Sale By Owner websites help you list and sell a house yourself, saving thousands in agent commissions. Many FSBO websites will also help you with the paperwork.

Should You Sell With Listingly?

We recommend listing with Houzeo over Listingly. Listingly’s “no upfront cost” and low listing fees may seem compelling. However, their customer reviews highlight their expensive add-ons.

Moreover, Listingly shares your details with third-party vendors who use it to market their services. Sellers have no control over the use of their information.

On the other hand, Houzeo offers better services with no nickel and dime. Their plans include everything you need in the home-selling process. Moreover, Houzeo’s web technology and mobile app make home selling a pleasant experience.
